Bob (Robert) and his wife Eleah opened Bob Boyd Photography in 1995. As his portrait and wedding business grew he used his travel opportunities to photograph many of the temples across the country. A former president of the Intermountain Professional Photographers Association, Bob has also won numerous state and national awards for his photography and occasionally teaches courses for professional photographers.
As the fine art side of his business continued to grow Bob eventually chose to focus exclusively on fine art. In late 2006 he closed the portrait side of his studio and joined Amalphi Arts, a company focused on quality in the LDS Art industry, where he also served as a vice president over
all giclee printing until he resigned earlier this year to focus more on
his own work.
The Boyd's are advocates of adoption as three of their five children are adopted, the youngest with spina bifida. They have served on the Church's "Families Supporting Adoption" national board, and currently Eleah with her sister visit local high schools as part of an adoption outreach program.
The Boyd family lives in Saratoga Springs with their children Madison, Jackson, Harrison, McKinley, and Wilson. |
